Today we get to hear from the amazing Diamund who is the digital organizing and training strategy fellow at San Francisco Rising Alliance. In August, Diamund published a LTE regarding student debt cancellation.

7 months ago we started the DOTS 2.0 fellowship!

The Digital Organizing Training and Strategy Fellowship was designed to build the long-term digital organizing capacity of Bay Rising and its partner groups so that even after the COVID-19 restrictions on in-person organizing ease, the region will emerge stronger with an integrated set of tools to engage the community members, amplify Bay Rising’s collective voice, and build power for the long haul.

Now we want to share what our fellows have been up to the past 7 months at their organizations. Be on the lookout for updates over the next week from our amazing fellows! First up we have Claire who is working with Bay Rising.

At the end of January, we collaborated with Regional Suburban Organizing Project (RSOP) to do a day-long Campaign Structure and Power Mapping training with housing orgs from around the Bay! Thanks to everyone who came out and participated to strengthen our regional housing strategy!
