The event will begin with an introductory panel discussion followed by small group breakouts for participants to discuss career paths, ask questions and learn more about careers in media!

Today marks a historic milestone in the fight for educational equality and justice. On this day in 1954, the landmark Supreme Court decision of Brown v. Board of Education declared racial segregation in public schools unconstitutional. It was a pivotal moment that shaped our nation's path towards equality and paved the way for a more inclusive future.

As we celebrate this anniversary, let us reflect on the progress we have made and acknowledge the work that still lies ahead. We must remain vigilant in dismantling systemic barriers that prevent equal access to education for all. Every child deserves the chance to learn in a safe, nurturing environment that values their unique abilities and backgrounds.
